ACTION DAYS: Workshops at J. Schwarz
Workshop for school classes: Technology up close by the expert for pupils
J. Schwarz regularly offers workshop action days for interested schools. Daniel Schwarz and specialists in the respective technologies provide interesting insights into the printing and shaping procedures of plastics processing. Using a practical production example, interested young people can gain up-close impressions of the world of colours and shapes of Plexiglas and Co.
Maybe we'll soon see one or another participant again as an apprentice at J. Schwarz!
Silkscreen printing and laser cutting workshop
Workshop for school classes: Technology up close by the expert for pupils Under the professional direction of Daniel Schwarz and Andreas Giese, a five-colour print was produced on acrylic, which was then shaped in the laser cut process. Pupils of the tenth form took part in the classic manual silkscreen printing process in an interested and orderly fashion and followed attentively the finishing in the high-tech laser cut process.
An additional motivation was surely the fact that the image for this print was made available by the Dresden artist Lars Peter Krause, who has produced concert posters for musicians and bands such as Die Toten Hosen, Beatsteaks, Jan Delay, Tom Petty and Green Day. Each pupil could then proudly take home his or her workpiece.
